Unity patch for Gnome 3.18 or 3.20

Asked by Ruben

Hey everybody,

I wanted to ask you if you have any plan to update Gnome patched apps (for Unity) for Gnome 3.18 or 3.20 (namely Nautilus and Calendar)?

Giving that they bring very important new tools, I am sure me and everybody else would see this update as very very great news.

If do have a plan to update, could you point out an approximative date for that?

Thanks for any future answer.

A happy Xenial user.

Ubuntu 16.04 comes with Gnome 3.18.

What issues are you seeing in Nautilus?

Actionparsnip, thanks for your answer.

I have no issues. But my nautilus is under 3.14.3 version.

Actually, I noticed that every other app is indeed updated to 3.18...

What is the output of:

apt-cache policy nautilus; lsb_release -a

Thanks

Uhm ok, fair enough. I am very sorry :s

One last question: I don't know if 3.20 is out or not. But when it will be, will you update the apps?

Thank you.

There is a PPA for Gnome 3.20. Lots of guides online on how to add it. Use it at your own risk.

Ah right, no, not patched... The theme is completely destroyed. Unfortunately.

Thank you so very much for your prompt andwer and forgive my ignorance.
