video capture xdm in chromium 16.04

please kindly assist with chromium and xdman video capture issues. i have been battling with this for a while now. just with abit of luck i would get the video capture working with chromium. but once i put off my Laptop and restart, i would not be able to capture any video.
something is going on somewhere that i cannot understand.
Please kindly assist.
