We have a concern during an update or install a package using the "deb http://mg.archive.ubuntu.com" in our sources-list.
If you can give us the answer to these questions please about our concerns:

Thank you for giving us all the details about the problem of mg.archive.ubuntu.com server? Why the server is not working properly? What are the reasons? What should be done? Who should do the rectification at the MG server?

Use Software Centre and switch the package source. There is a main server which has the same name as your URLs in this post but not prefixed with "mg."

This is the central server that feeds to all the country based (local) repositories. Switching to this may resolve the issue.

What is the URL of this main server? The problem is that my connexion is not good, and if the main source is not mg. , the update and the install package is very slow. Therefore my question wether repository mg. has a problem, and does't repairable.

If you use the mg server you don't get any updates at all

Maybe there is an issue. You could report a bug. I don't own the server so I don't know. I'm a user, just like you....

The mg server will need to be resync'd with the main server in some way. Maybe you need an update on your system to rectify the problem.

OK, I think that also that mg server will need to be resyn'd with the main server. But which may make the synchro? I am also a simple user. :)
