No sound

I have an ASUS M2N-VMX all in one M/B when I loaded the GOS I have no sound can some one help please This is my first time with LINUX

Try opening a terminal window (Application->Accessories->Terminal) and write "alsamixer" then press enter. Make sure that all the bars are up to their maximum level and that they are not muted (You can use the 'M' key to mute and unmute). Let me know if this works.
