'/home' directory encryption & OS update

Hi, thanks 4 reading.
Today, i got a strange problem.

Assume that u start to install Ubuntu on your PC(Desktop, Laptop) and encrypt your /home directory.
After Finishing installation, you can not update your OS, Firefox via Ubuntu Software!

What should i do?
Is this bug limited to me? Or is this critical OS bug?
