Internel Compiler error, Segmentation Fault

Asked by Javed

Hi all, I'm quite new at working and developing with Ubuntu, I'm at the early stages so I would be really thankful If members can answer my query with understanding that I don't have much experience with development.
I've installed Ubuntu 16.04 on my PC and tried to install 'Qemu' so that i can compile different Kernels etc

But during configuration I've faced an 'Internal error' saying segmentation fault.

Makefile:186: recipe for target 'subdir-sh4-softmmu' failed

I've got gcc4.7

Thanks in advance, If you need any more info please do provide me a little guidance to dig that info.
All your support would be highly appreciated
