How to return to win 7 OS after using Ubuntu on Oracle VBox?

Asked by K C ARVIND

I was using Win 7 and then installed Oracle V Box and tried to run Ubuntu from the ISO image download.
It wasnt sucessful. Then i bought a Ubuntu CD and could run Ubuntu successfully. Now i am not able to get
back to my win 7 OS at all. it is something to do with partitions & boot order. I am actually a non-IT guy.
so please help. Thank you.

I chose two options during running Ubuntu initially. one is "Run it as a virtual machine" and another is " something else"

You run Virtualbox then setup a new virtual machine. Set the MD5 tested ISO as being in the virtual CD drive and set the CD as the first boot device in the virtual system's settings. It will then boot the ISO and you can install Ubuntu to the virtual system.
