is AMD drivers support for ubuntu 16.04

I am ubuntu 14.04 LTS user and i want to upgrade to Ubuntu 16.04 LTS but i found some problems regarding ubuntu 16.04 LTS because i am amd user as per some website reviews amd drivers are not supporting ubuntu 16.04 LTS so it is waste to upgrade to 16.04 LTS please help me to resolve this problem I want to upgrade to 16.04 LTS

If you uninstall the AMD drivers and switch to the open drivers, you can then upgrade without issue
