Price editor in GNU cash is not working properly

Recently upgraded to 16.04.
Using the price editor in GNU cash and trying to add new prices for an investment by selecting a price and then pressing the Add button.
When I have entered the new information and click on the OK button not only does the price I have entered disappear but also the price I had selected .
Has anyone else experienced this behaviour?
