System|Preferences|About Me information does not save between sessions. Can't this be used as default info for other applications?

Hi, what version of gnome-about are you using?

You can find out using 'sudo apt-cache show gnome-about|grep Version' is you weren't sure.

Oops, I made a typo I'm afraid, that should have been gnome-about-me instead. :(

What I would do If I were you would be to report this as a bug with the version information and exactly what happens to you. Sorry I couldn't be of any more help.
