Totem only displays one subtitle at a time

I watch a lot of Japanese animation, and it's fairly commonplace for the subtitlers to have multiple subtitles at once onscreen—one translating the speech, others translating incidental onscreen text. Totem only ever displays one subtitle at a time, and generally it's the least helpful one possible.

Have you tried other players like VLC?

Yes, but that doesn't really help with ensuring when I file a bug against Totem I put it in the right place.

If you run:

ubuntu-bug totem

It will go to the right place :)
