Mounting iPod Video

Asked by Nayef Copty

Merry Christmas everyone,

I used to have an iPod Mini, 4GB. I used to connect it, and it would be recognized automatically by my Ubuntu Dapper Drake.
As for now, I bought an iPod Video. I've connected it, but the computer does not recognize it. I've followed the steps on http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=103071 to mount the iPod, but nothing happens!

Please help me if possible.

Best Regards,

Heh, in my case all I had to do was upgrade to Edgy and everything started working for some odd reason. Before the upgrade I couldn't even connect my iPod with any of the programs needed for uploading music onto it, they'd simply crash, but it seems the upgrade has fixed whatever it was that caused the problem.
