new Ozs install problems. Locked desktop

Hello,

I just installed the new Denial OS.
My desktop says I have version 16.04.
 I t seems I have problems carried over from the previous version.
I can't log into the desktop. I put in the user password and the computer accepts it but the screen flickers a few times and goes back to the log in page. It seems to be stuck in a loop.
I sat here for. 5 hours installing this version and I am still having problems. Is there any way to fix this?

Also, same message but in place of binay amd64, it reads binary i386

What is the output of:

cat /etc/apt/sources.list; lsb_release -a; uname -a

COPY the command and paste it into the terminal. Don't try to retype it.

Are you sure it doesn't say Xenial instead of Denial.

As for the above comment #5, I can't copy and paste snoring into or out of the computer.

My computer is stuck on the desktop and i can't do any thing but get to the terminal.

I am using my pine to put posts here and so i have to type any commands from here into the terminal
