How to install both Chrome and Chromium browsers

I installed Chrome using the deb download from Google.

I installed Chromium from synaptic on Ubuntu 16.04 beta 03-march-2016.

Dash has a launch icon for Chrome but not for Chromium.

How do I launch Chromium graphically?

Why does Chrome have the close/min/max cluster in the upper right instead of left?

Are these 2 browsers completely distinct on the same OS? Do they share any settings?

Press ALT + F2 and type:

chromium-browser

Press ENTER

Chrome ignores the Gnome settings so has controls on the right. There may be an addon to move them.
