Installed with SPM doesn't show up in applications

After installing Clara OCR and Ocrad with the Synaptic Package Manager they don't show up in the applications. The description of Clara indicates it has a GUI so I assume it doesn't have to be used in terminal mode. Can anybody tell me where they are?

So add it to menu yourself via System→Preferences→Main Menu...

Looks like it might work but it thinks I know where the executable file is. There isn't a program files folder so I still don't know where it was put.

Executable file is probably in /usr/bin

Thanks, It solved many of my problems. Now I just have to make the app work.
