How Can I quickly find Question xxxxx? Search didn't gain immediate access.

Asked by wencoe

I think answers.launchpad is great. I scroll for interesting (to me, a newbie) issues and note the Question numbers, such as 27992, etc. for future reference.

When I subsequently return to view specific Questions by # ID, I only know now how to scroll for its location.

Some how I missed the info area that undoubtedly advises one on how to find 27992 directly by entering the ID #.

Search by "relevancy, " etc., doesn't (maybe should) include question#.

Thanks. My apologies in advance since this question is not Ubuntu applications oriented.

You know, maybe there should be a way to search like that. I know it's annoying to search for something and be told there is no "project" with that name.

However, to find your question, I would just edit the url. The last bit is the question number so just put the one you want in.

Very effective is also to use google -- you can search only on launchpad.net or answers.launchpad.net etc. ;-)
