21:9 monitor support

Hi guys,
I have a 2180x1080p 21:9 monitor that works fine on windows but on linux the highest i can get is 1920x1080p.
Can anyone advise me on what i must do to get my full resolution of my monitor on linux?

What is the output of:

sudo lshw -C display; lsb_release -a; uname -a; xrandr

there you go, also note i am using two monitors , one at 1366x768 ( which i have no problem with) .
