Microsoft Hindi Keyboard from Wipro and Ubuntu 14.04

Asked by anon

Recently I bought from Nehru Place computer market in New Delhi, India, a Rs 650 Wipro Hindi Keyboard and it has Microsoft Windows operating systems keys and thus 'what hindi character key you type is what you get'. However, when I use it on Ubuntu 14.04 I don't get the same hindi characters what I had keyed (after I had put hindi bolnagri, kagapa phonetic, wx and sanskrit kagapa phonetic text entry settings)? Could someone please tell Ubuntu developers to include the same hardware keyboard layout sold for example at Nehru Place computer market in New Delhi, India on their Ubuntu operating system?

Thank you very much, God bless.
