Menus on windows are not working properly on Ubuntu 15.04

I am having trouble with the Window Menus. When I use the menus from the the desktop everything is fine. When I use the menus from the windows a single click which is supposed to bring up the menus does not work properly. It appears that the single click event is firing the window name event and interfering with the menu click event.

Can this be easily fixed?

Vivid is no longer supported in any way. It is EOL (End of life).

I suggest you upgrade to WIly for continued support. Alternatively, reinstall with either Trusty (Ubuntu 14.04 LTS) or Xenial (Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (in pre-release)). These are supported for many many years and Trusty is rock solid.
