Trying to install i-nex on 14.04

Asked by William Roberts

Long story short, I'm stuck with a subpar celeron processor, and I need to overclock it by just a bit to make this computer actually usable. I'm running 14.04, and I have downloaded i-nex, but when I try to install it the software center tells me:

Dependency is not satisfiable: gambas3-runtime (>=3.5.0)

I found on another thread a command prompt to install gambas runtime, which I did, but I got the same message after trying again.

Keep in mind, I was running windows on this computer beforehand, and I thought the processor would be able to handle ubuntu, but it isn't working much better. I'm completely unfamiliar with coding Linux, but ubuntu works well enough for what I need. Keep this in mind when answering please!

I found this:

http://www.noobslab.com/2014/01/cpuz-alternatives-inex-cpug-for-ubuntu.html?m=1

Have you followed this or seen this before?

@William: please visit the following website using a web browser. Do not use an Email client, because the Email client is chopping up my command into invalid pieces.... Instead, copy-paste the given command from this website using a web browser into the Linux Terminal....

https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/283407

So please try again.

It is a single Terminal command that starts with find and ends with ;

For gambas3-runtime >= 3.5.0 on trusty you might try the PPA https://launchpad.net/~gambas-team/+archive/ubuntu/gambas3
