Ubuntu 7.10 dont want to start

Asked by whitegod

I installed Ubuntu 7.10 on my PC. In 1 out of 20 times it will start.
I guess it has something to do with my SATA HD's, but i'm not sure.
The loadingscreen at the very beginning shows only one line very left, then it don't move anymore.
Got some ideas? :)

Thanks in advance.
