Buffering of Youtube videos

When i watch videos on YouTube, the video buffers/stops after every 6-7 seconds ? It is happening to all the videos from other channels as well. Please advice.

I mainly use Firefox. After using the command given by you above, it's running really smooth. While writing this note, I am listening to some Indian Classical Vocal Recital, uninterrupted. Has my problem been solved, Mr Andrew ? Kindly just confirm, Thanks .
