this machines firmware has started the installer in UEFI mode but it looks like there may be existing operating systems already installed using "BIOS compatability mode"

Asked by John Wilson

I have reinstalled Ubuntu several times and seem to have a rather small /boot partition.
Can I use a live CD to overwrite the previous installations and utilize my whole hard drive?

Do you want to have Ubuntu as the only operating system, or will this be a dual boot setup (e.g. with Ubuntu and Windows)?

Hi Manfred
Thank you for your reply.
I decided to wipe out the Windows partition and reinstall Ubuntu on the whole drive.
I hope this solves my problems
