With Ubuntu and most linux distributions, you should refrain from downloading and installing untrusted software.

Ubuntu provides several flash plugins, including the official one from adobe. You can use the Synaptic Package Manager to install it

Select menu System > Administrator > Synaptic Package Manager
search for adobe-flashplugin
Mark it for installation
Choose "Apply all changes" from the toolbar

You may need to enable the partner repositories to see adobe-flashplugin:

Choose Settings > Repositories
Choose the Other software tab
Verify the archive that ends with "partner" is selected
If you made a change, use the Reload button to collect the new archive information
