Hi

I don't remember if it is included on the disk, but it is available in the repositories. You can install it by entering the following command. It will ask you to enter your password, type it in and hit enter even though you won't see anything while typing the password, it is ok.

sudo apt-get install wifi-radar

Good luck

i did a complet install of 7.10 and each time before and after when looking for wifi-radar
it alway come back no package found
i sent for a new usb wireless and will try that when i get it
now
when i first start up the ubuntu i get a signal from my network and next door my signal is 85% and next door is 10%
the icon goes from green to gray when i try to connect to my network
than my network goes from 85% to 0% and never connects

question can i put in the driver for the new wireless when i get it or does ubuntu 7.10 have it already???

Using System->Administration->Software sources [Ubuntu software] please enable all the repositories.

Then open a Terminal from the menu Applications->Accessories->Terminal and type:

sudo aptitude update
sudo aptitude upgrade
sudo aptitude install wifi-radar

give your user password when requested, you don't see nothing when you type it, then press enter.

You will find wifi-radar under the Applications->Internet menu.

Hope this helps
