Pixma MG3250 scanner no longer working with scangearmp

Hello all,

I run into problems, when I try to operate (the printer or) the scanner of my Canon Pixma MG3250 via wireless connection using the driver scangearmp.

This malfunction correlates with the kernel-version I'm using.

Until kernel 3.13.0-65 everything was OK.
3.13.0-66 didn't work, the scanner was not found.
3.13.0-67 did work again
3.13.0-68 did still work
3.13.0.70 didn't work anymore, the scanner could not be found
3.13.0.71 same as above

Reinstallation of driver package didn't change anything.

Has anyone any idea, how to explain such behavior?
