Live-CD cannot 'make' programs.

Asked by Pho3nix

Hallo,

I tested the Live-CD, but I was not able to 'make' the Ndiswrapper to connect to the Internet.
Why is this impossible?
Is this feature missing? I don't think that this is very huge, it should be also burned on a Live-CD...

Or did I a mistake? As I am new to Linux, I don't know, if I have to do something special in Ubuntu...
Philipp

PS. That was the Error:

root@ubuntu:/home/ubuntu/ndiswrapper-1.7# make distclean
bash: make: command not found

You will need to do 'sudo apt-get install build-essential'. After installing that (and everything it entails), you should be all set.

Can you help with this problem?
