Hi,

Need a little bit more info to help you with this issue.

Was this Wifi adapter configured and working with a network prior to attempting to connect to the network mentioned above?

What Wifi adapter do you have?

Is it a USB device or PCI card?

Are you using a native driver or ndiswrapper?

What version of Ubuntu are you running?

There is a lot of useful information at the following URL - https://help.ubuntu.com/community/WifiDocs

Take care,

Jimbo.

TFT 12,1" Wide WXGA, Máx. 1280x800 , Glare
        2GB SODIMM DDR2 667MHz
        1GB Flash Intel Turbo Memory
 Intel 965GM
Intel GMA X3100 até 358MB partilhada
 160GB SATA
 10/100/1000Mbps + Wireless intel 4965agn, Modem 56k

I'm using Ubuntu 7.10

The wireless connection works with the open wifi connection around but not with mine. And I prefere to have net wireless that thru the ethernet cable.

if you need to manually configure the seting in wifi try this coomand it will give you

your etho ip which is more than likely the

master for your wifi provider this may give you a better shot at a link

than the provided configuration

/sbin/ifconfig eth0 | grep 'inet addr:' | cut -d: -f2 | awk '{ print $1}'

hope this helps or gives you a new lead
