Installing ros on Ubuntu

I am having an issue with installing ro on Ubuntu 15.10 this has been going on for quit some time and when I look it up others were ha Ving the same problem and the turotials online are either not for 15.10 or did not work for me is there anyone who knows how to install ROS onto unbuntu

The ROS package sources only support up to Vivid (Ubuntu 15.04) and are not up to Wily (Ubuntu 15.10) yet. As you can see from this URL:
http://packages.ros.org/ros/ubuntu/dists/

So you have 2 choices:

- Reinstall and use Ubuntu Trusty (14.04 LTS release) and use the steps on the ROS guide as is (easy and LTS releases are great)

Or

- Use the ROS guide but update the package sources the guide adds to say "vivid" when it will say "wily" in your case, and hope that it works OK.

You could also contact the maintainers to see if they are going to add a Wily branch to their server so that the install is easier. They seem to have overlooked Wily.
