dell inspiron cannot start.it says no live system file found.

I switched off my Dell laptop using the power button. The following day when I switched it on it reported a boot up error saying no live system file found

I recommend that you boot into a live system (with an Ubuntu Installation DVD or an USB stick with an Ubuntu installer ) to check the status of your hard disk and partitions.
