Unhandled Lockdown error (-16)

Asked by steven riddle

updated my iPhone 4S to iOS 9.1, now i can't access the DCIM folder to download my photos, i can't access the phone whatsoever. instead i get this message:

Unable to access "steven's iPhone"
Unhandled Lockdown error (-16)

what's going on? any workarounds?

all i can currently do is access my photos online via iCloud, downloading 3 at a time, where i was used to simply "copy & pasting" from the folders within DCIM into my Picture's folder

running a 32-bit ubuntu 14.04

my apologies: this is posted in "Ubuntu Tweak" which is erroneous but i have no idea how to change the location or category of question or distribution package or ... ??

To change the target location for the question use https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu-tweak/+question/275659/+edit
At the end of the page you see "This question is about:", and there you can select the right Ubuntu package or project.
