Libre Office Suite

Asked by davidzaq1

Hello,

I am having a problem with the Libre Office Suite.

I had Open Office but it did not seem to work well. I uninstalled it and went back to the software center for Libre Office.

The packages in the software center looked very strange. There were different coloured tabs coming from the side of the page with the main part of the tab covering the words of Libre Office.

I tried to install it but said, the package could not be recognized as a Ubuntu product and it was from an untrusted source.

I do not know how something in Ubuntu software could not be trusted.

I went to the synaptic software center and completely removed everything I could find under Libre Office.

Is there a way to fix this?

Thank you,
David

Have you tried renaming the configuration folder for LibreOffice and then running the application. You will get default settings for LibreOffice and it may help.

Then close all LibreOffice applications and run:

mv ~/.config/LibreOffice ~/.config/libreoffice_old

Then launch a LibreOffice application. You will get default settings. Is it OK then?

If you use imageshack or similar, you can make a URL out of the image
