When is next Ubuntu version coming out? Or can I get a beta version too?

Asked by Milardo

When is next Ubuntu version coming out? Or can I get a beta version too? I am just asking because the most critical issue I have with Ubuntu is getting on the internet with my compact wireless g usb adapter WUSB54GC by Linksys. I know lots of other people have the same problem too. I am surprised that such a high selling still selling product has no easy connectivity with Linux.

yes its available every six moths and you can use the unsupported beta hardy now with the install at this link

peace =]

update to hardy, open your sources.list :

sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

and replace every "gutsy" with a "hardy"

save and close. Then run in a terminal,

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
