ISO DOWNLOAD ERROR

USING EXPLORER DOWNLOADED 14.04 FROM UBUNTU DOWNLOAD SITE WHICH COMPLETED BUT THEN PUT UP ERROR 'sORRY CAN'T MOUNT FILE'

How do I proceed further? I want to switch from win 8 (not 8,1) to Ubuntu desktop
