Can i remove the virtual machine folder as i have uninstalled vmware package

Asked by chiao woei

Hi all.
I recently installed vmware onto my ubuntu 7.10 gutsy for testing. The installation went smoothly and i formatted 8G of space using NTFS format. I then uninstalled it because it does not recognised my modem too just like ubuntu. I realised that the space utilised by the virtual machine is not removed in the process of uninstallation. It is still stored in "var->lib->vmware-serve->Virtual Machines->Window XP Professional. So, i would like to know if i can removed it myself or not?

Thanking you in advance
