Different scaling factor for monitors

Asked by lum3n

Hello,

I'm using a Dell XPS 13 (9343) whose internal display has a resolution of 3200x1800.
It currently runs Ubuntu 15.10 and kernel 4.2.0-16-generic. The HiDPI-Scaling function (slider in the settings) works great when using only this display.

The problem begins when using an external monitor with a different resolution. Unfortunately it seems to be not possible to set a different scaling factor for each monitor separately. For example:

When using only the internal screen, a factor of 1,75 is perfect for me. On the external monitor everything is huge understandably. On the other hand a factor of 1 make everything tiny on the internal monitor.

Is it possible to set different scaling factors for each monitor?

Thanks and regards,
lum3n
