update-manager

I can't update, I have this errors when open the update-manager:
E:Encountered a section with no Package: header,
E:Problem with MergeList /var/lib/apt/lists/mx.archive.ubuntu.com_ubuntu_dists_gutsy-updates_multiverse_binary-i386_Packages,
E:No se pudieron analizar o abrir las listas de paquetes o el archivo de estado.'

a) - Please copy and paste here the contents of your /etc/apt/sources.list
Open a Terminal from the menu Applications->Accessories->Terminal and type:
gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

b) Try to upgrade your system from terminal, type:

sudo apt-get clean all
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
