Unable to find wifi printer in 14.04

Asked by Lou Lavin

I have an Epson workforce 630 connected to my router, my Windows and Ubuntu 12 machines work fine with it. I recently upgraded two computers to 14.04. When I try to install the printer on these machines I click on Add > Network Printer > Find Network Printer. The message I get back is "no printer was found at this address". I get the same message if I put the Ip address of the printer into the host box and click find. If I bring one of these computers to the printer and plug in the USB cable it prints fine. This is not a problem on my computers still running Ubuntu 12.
