no sound for http://www.bloomberg.com/live (TV stream)

ubuntu 14.04. Dell Studio 1537 3.9 GB DRAM

I had sound for http://www.bloomberg.com/live but suddenly there was no sound either in the speakers or headphones. The video is fine. the sound in other applications are fine. In my other ubuntu 14.04 machine there is sound.

i recently updated the 14.04 lts software and used my firefox browser to connect to bloomberg live. it worked. regardless, i am still curious about why my chrome browser stop working.
