Unable to load Dell SMM Signature

Problem didn't occur until I upgraded from 15.04 to 15.10. I am using a Dell Vostro desktop computer with 4 GB of DDR 2 memory and a 22 inch wide Dell screen.

Computer blue front power button blinks on and off but lets me be still use computer. The "Unable to load Dell SMM Signature" loads at BIOS start-up before Ubuntu loads up.

My workaround for this bug after noticing that FSCK agrees with Disks that I have nine bad blocks on the hard drive was to run Ubuntu on another hard drive. Disks is part of Gnome desktop that can run on Ubuntu. FSCK is the Linux file checker. The hard drive with the bad blocks still works but is just for storage space now.
