in windows i can get to the control panel and see all is there a way to get to the control panel in ubuntu
also in windows i can get to my computer is there the same in ubuntu
i just install ubuntu

i need to change my sound from one device to another
i can get the sond but i can't get the music played to play the sound
i did
system
preference
sound
devices
i can get the sound on test
sound event and on test
musicand vivies on test
audio conferencing on test
not sound capture
i put in divice the divcice i want to use

but still have it going to wrong device for sound
i need to set the device to a pci card i have installed as default and not use the other one ????????????????/
