acpi pcc probe failed cannot on the pc

I have zero knowledge on ubantu. I learnt all i kw from youtube and forums. I have a desktop with dual monitors. I hv to issues.
1. When i start the computer a msg comes stating acpi pcc pobe failed and then the PC goes blank. I tried some of the stuff suggested but it keeps on happening.

2. When i boot the computer using safe mode still one of my monitors are recognized as unknown....

1. I installed ubuntu 14.04
2. Desktop pc core i3 with a 1gb additional navidia gt218 VGA. i think i installed it via additional drivers and selecting a proprietary version.

Pls help

Did you install nvidia prime?
Did you try the boot option;

Hi Actionparship

I install Nvidia and on the additional drivers it states that

Using NVIDIA binary driver - version 340.93 from nvidia-340(proprietary)

I really don't know what do you mean by "Boot Option"

Really thinking whether it was a mistake to install ubuntu...
