Starting Ubuntu after installing Win7
After loosing all windows related stuff in trying to upgrade from 7 to 10, I installed Ubuntu 14.04 from a dvd that I had made some years ago. This went fine, but I did not find a way to restore my data files from my backups/copies on my 211J NAS system.
I have then restarted from life dvd to make a partition where I could try to reinstall Win7, hopefully allowing me to recover my file from the NAS. This worked fine, but the system does not allow me to choose Ubuntu when starting up (in fact no choice is offered). My question now is: how can I get the system to offer a dual boot option, when the only thing it seems to know about is Win7?
Thanks a lot beforehand for your kind assistance.
