ACPI : rcdp error. CD boot very very slow.

Sir, when i boot my kubuntu 7.04 liveCD for instaling it,first splash screen appears no problem,I select start or install option.the next screen top it shows ACPI : RCDP not found or something like that error.thn it boots very very slowly.once I sat 1 hour to boot that CD completly ,and then also not fuly functional or cannot install.
i tried acpi=off option,now that error message gone.but all rest are as above.
can anybody help please.

SandeepValsan,

When you get to the cd boot menu, press f6 and delete the "quiet splash--" part and add "noapic"
Now you will be able to see verbose output of what is happening.
Try booting now and look for any errors.
