remove Ubuntu 14.04 nd install windows xp

I have dell inspiron 1520 and installed Ubuntu 14.04 and there is no other os in my lap now I wanted to remove it nd wanted to install windows xp.i created ntfs partition in hard disk but system did not detect my bootable pendrive.please tell me the solution??

Hello and thanks for participating in 'Launchpad Answers'.

Probably this is a problem either with BIOS / USB stick detection / or with the USB stick itself and how you have created it.

This problem seems has nothing to do with Ubuntu Operating System.

Please read the manufacturer documentation about USB stick detection or/and try to create the USB stick with another program.
A good program for creating a bootable USB stick, but it runs only under Windows (meaning you must find a PC with Windows installed in order to run this program), you can find in following link:

You will need an XP support forum.

XP is dead. I suggest you select a supported operating system
