installation problem

While I install ubuntu 14.04 on my Sharp PC-WE40T, my laptop shuts down by itself. When I turn on my laptop again, it appears error:unknown filesystem. I have already tried other methods as what others did but nothing happens. What should I do??

Have you tested your RAM using Memtest from Grub?
Have you checked the drive from the install media? It may be failing SMART.
