live usb creator : error installing bootloader

hi

after installing linuxmint-17.1-kde-64bit via usb-creator on a 4 Gb key from an installed linuxmint of the same kind (with persistence checked up to 2 Gb) i have an error message saying "problem installing bootloader" (approximate translation from french)...
how can i get more info about this error ??? i don't know how to report more infos for this bug : all the files seems to be properly installed on the key...

Mint is not supported by the Ubuntu community. It's support base s entirely separate from Ubuntu's
