Logitech MK300 optical keyboard & mouse gliches with Ubuntu

Asked by katcw

Since a couple of upgrades ago, my optical keyboard and mouse do not seem totally compatible with Ubuntu. In Thunderbird if I select one message to delete it often deletes two, and now I cannot select a message to just show in the preview panel; it open each message selected. In other applications the mouse click doesn't always open the selection, or typing does not always appear in a text box. Is there a new driver I need, or some other explanation?

"No command "lsb" found, did you mean . . . (several options listed.)

Funny how it's worked this time... Why do you think I give you the exact command to run?

If you set the USB to legacy mode in the BIOS does it help?

If you have the device in a USB 3 port, try in a USB 2 port instead. Make sure you plug the receiver into the motherboard rather than a USB hub.

Just a typo - is it a big deal? Also, I just figured out how to cut and
paste from terminal.
