SCREEN FLASH WHEN ANY STICKY KEY IS USED

hi when i have sticky keys active my screen flashes black when i press the sift key or any other key that is used by sticky keys . anyone any ideas how to stop this please.

its for us old decrepid types that cannot hold the shift key down and press another key at the same time , when sticky keys are on i can press first the shift key then what ever else i want and its as though i hold down the sift key , you can turn it on by pressing the shift key 5 times fast. Try this: In keyboard preferences, go to accessibility tab, click notifications button, and uncheck "beep when a modifier key is pressed".

tried this but unticking it doesnt seem to do anything still bleeps,tried turning sticky keys of and on again still no luck

system preferances sound then sytem bleeps untick visual sytem bleep . this cures the problem if anyone is interested
