Window manager

I am trying to learn to use the terminal. Can anyone tell me how I can enter window manager to change settings?
I have just installed Ubuntu 15.04 on my laptop.

I would like to change"click to focus" to "focus follows mouse"

If you are using the Unity shell then you can use Unity tweak tool to maybe set this..
